Dunaújváros small area

The small area Dunaújváros ( Hungarian Dunaújvárosi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Fejér County in Central Transdanubia in Hungary until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, all 9 localities of the small area were added to the successor district Dunaújváros (Hungarian Dunaújvárosi járás ), which also received 7 localities from the small area Adony .

At the end of 2012 there were 69,853 inhabitants on 371.73 km², the small area had the second highest population density after Székesfehérvár (188 inhabitants per km²). The administrative seat was Dunaújváros . The city also has county rights (Hungarian megyei jogú város ).
