Kleinweil is a church village in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Großweil in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district and one of the seven officially named parts of this municipality.

location

The district is located just under a kilometer north of the main town Großweil on the left side of the Loisach on the state road 2370 .

history

There was the independent community of Kleinweil, consisting of the places Gröben , Kleinweil, Pölten , Stern and Zell and about 1100 hectares in size, which belonged to the Weilheim district , came to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district on July 1, 1972 and was completely incorporated into Großweil in 1976 .
