The Klinge Pharma GmbH is a nearly 90-year-old, mid-size German pharmaceutical company based in Holzkirchen (Bavaria). With its medicines, Klinge focuses on the gastrointestinal area and sells not only "well-known" products such as B. Vomex A ( motion sickness ) z. B. the newer products Carvomin ( indigestion ), Diaverde ( diarrhea ) and Gelsectan ( irritable bowel syndrome ).
Arctuvan ( UTI ) and Venostasin ( phlebitis ) are also old-established brands of blade.
history
In 1933 the company was founded as the chemical-pharmaceutical factory A. Klinge in Berlin . After the Second World War, a branch was established in Munich , which became the parent company Klinge Pharma GmbH & Co. in 1948 . In 1949 the company moved to Munich.
After various positions (investments / sales etc.), Klinge Pharma was founded in 2014 by the brothers Dr. Andreas and Dr. Thomas Strüngmann acquired. Klinge Pharma GmbH has been based in Holzkirchen (Upper Bavaria) since April 2017 . The managing directors are Dr. Thomas Strüngmann, Fabian Strüngmann and - since 2019 - Dr. Ines Bohn.
Strategic direction
The gastrointestinal indication area is strategically in focus at the moment, further priorities are in preparation. In addition to positioning with an OTC brand portfolio , the company set itself the goal of developing its own Rx range (prescription drugs). In expanding its portfolio in the prescription segment, Klinge Pharma is pursuing the strategy of occupying niches.

- Binko ( ginkgo extract ): to improve blood circulation and oxygen supply in the brain.
- Bronchoverde ( ivy leaf dry extract ): to dissolve mucus when coughing .
- Carvomin (herbal medicine): digestive drops to support the digestive function, for flatulence, bloating and cramps.
- Diaverde ( Racecadotril ): hard capsules against diarrhea and related abdominal pain.
- Gelsectan ( medical product ): Against irritable bowel symptoms .
- Vomex A ( dimenhydrinate ): For nausea and for the prevention and treatment of motion sickness (in adults and children over 12 years).
- Venostasin ( horse chestnut extract ): To strengthen the veins and promote vein health.
- Utipro Plus (herbal medicine): to prevent bladder infections .
