The Leverkusen Clinic (until 1993 municipal hospital ) in the Leverkusen - Schlebusch district is a care level III hospital and an academic teaching hospital of the University of Cologne . It has 12 medical departments with 740 beds, several focus centers and other institutes.

The Leverkusen Clinic was built from 1953 to 1956 according to plans by Benno Schachner and inaugurated on October 24, 1956.

Subsidiaries of the Leverkusen Clinic are: Klinikum Leverkusen Service GmbH (100%), MVZ Leverkusen gGmbH (100%), MVZ Klinikum Leverkusen GmbH (100%), Physio-Centrum Leverkusen GmbH (51%). The group employs 2312 people (2015).

An unused part of the clinic was the location of the hospital series Bettys Diagnose, broadcast on ZDF .
