Kneipp facility
A Kneipp facility is a building erected in spas or in the open air that is used for Kneipp medicine . "Kneipp" is a hydrotherapy treatment method that is used on the basis of Sebastian Kneipp . According to the Kneipp Association, Kneipp facilities can be in the form of water treading facilities or arm basins and are generally not subject to the Drinking Water Ordinance . In addition to running waters , Kneipp facilities are also fed by wells , springs , water pumps or the public drinking water network.

Water treading systems
Kneipp facilities are in most cases in the form of water treading points , e.g. B. in spa parks , furnished. This is done in cold water on the spot.
Often water treading points are embedded in the natural course of a river or a lake . There are also artificially created Kneipp facilities outside of a flowing water, which are known as water treading pools . These usually have a railing and a flat floor slab .
Arm basin
In the Kneipp arm basins, the arms are immersed in cold water up to the middle of the upper arms.
