Kobyschtscha ( Ukrainian Кобижча ; Russian Кобыжча ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 4,500 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded around 1100, is one of the largest villages in Ukraine. It extends over a length of 8 kilometers along the ancient river bed of the river Kobyschtscha and has two stations on the railway Kiev - Nizhyn . Kobyschtscha is located in the north of the Bobrowyzja district, 12 km northeast of the Bobrowyzja district center and forms its own district council . Territorial road T-25-26 runs through the village .
