Bobrowyzja (Ukrainian Бобровиця ; Russian Бобровица / Bobrowizja ) is a city in Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine and the center of the raion of the same name with 11,900 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2005).
history
Bobrovytsia was founded in the 11th century. 1958 the town was granted the status of the city and is divided administratively next to the city proper or in the 5 villages Zatyshshia (Затишшя) Makariwka (Макарівка) Trawkyne (Травкине) Uroschajne (Урожайне) Tscherwonoarmijske (Червоноармійське) and a settlement Myrne ( Мирне).
