Dobryanka ( Ukrainian and Russian Добрянка ) is an urban-type settlement in northern Ukraine with around 2800 inhabitants (2014).

Town center

history

The village, founded by Russian Old Believers in 1706, was given the status of an urban-type settlement in 1924.

geography

Dobryanka is located in the north of Chernihiv Oblast directly on the border with Belarus, 76 km north of the Chernihiv oblast center and 40 km north of the Ripky Rajon center . To the settlement around the boundary flow flowing Nemylnja ( Немильня ), a 32 kilometer long tributary of Sosch . In the west of the settlement there is a border station on the railway line from Homel (Belarus) to Chernihiv, and the M 01 / Europastraße 95 road runs about 10 km west of the village . The former "Dobryanka military airfield" with a 2 km long runway is located near the settlement . In addition to Dobryanka, the settlement council also includes the villages of Atkylnja ( Аткильня ) with about 30 inhabitants and Werbiwka ( Вербівка ) with about 300 inhabitants. 52.0813654 31.1198473
