Ripky (Ukrainian Ріпки ; Russian Репки / Repki ) is an urban-type settlement in the Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine and the center of the raion of the same name with 8,000 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2005).

history

The place Ripky has been known since 1607 . In the early 19th century, Ripky received parish status. In 1966 Ripky received the status of the urban-type settlement, since 1923 it has been the administrative center of the raion of the same name.
