Beresna ( Ukrainian and Russian Березна ) is an urban-type settlement in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 4,500 inhabitants (2019).
The village, founded in 1152, has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1924.

Beresna is the only locality of the settlement council and is located on the regional road P-12 in Mena district 39 km east of the Chernihiv oblast center and 33 km west of the Mena district center .
