Talalajiwka (Ukrainian Талалаївка ; Russian Талалаевка / Talalajewka ) is an urban-type settlement in the Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine and the center of the raion of the same name with about 5000 inhabitants.

history

A workers' settlement for the construction of the railway was established here in 1877 , the name was taken from a nearby village, today's Stara Talalajiwka . Talayivka has been the center of the raion of the same name since 1933, and since 1958 the place has had the status of an urban-type settlement.
