Snowsk ( Ukrainian Сновськ ; Russian Сновск ) is a city in the Chernihiv Oblast of Ukraine and the center of the raion of the same name with about 11,000 inhabitants (2018).
history
A settlement called Korschiwka was established here in the 1860s. From 1924 the place is the city of Snowsk . In 1935, the city in honor of the commander of the same name in the Russian Civil War was Shchors (Ukrainian Щорс ) renamed, took place on 12 May 2016 in the wake of de-communization in Ukraine the return wording on Snowsk.
