Radul ( Ukrainian and Russian Радуль ) is on the left bank of the Dnieper located urban-type settlement in the western Ukrainian oblast Chernihiv with about 500 inhabitants (2015).
The settlement, founded in 1752, was a historical center of Old Believers and was given urban-type settlement status in 1967. The population of the village was 4662 in 1926 and has since decreased continuously to the current level of 500 inhabitants (2015). Radul is located in Ripky district on the border with Belarus, 37 km west of the Ripky district center and 74 km northwest of the Chernihiv oblast center .
Radul is the administrative center of the 9.224 km² settlement council of the same name, which also includes the 4 villages Korchevja ( Корчев'я ⊙ ) with about 70 inhabitants, Lopatni ( Лопатні ⊙ ) with about 250 inhabitants, Novosilky ( Новосілки ⊙ ) with about 110 inhabitants and Peredil ( Переділ ⊙ ) with about 40 inhabitants.
