The Chornaya Uba , the source of the Uba, flows along the southwest flank of the mountain range . Most of the peaks are between 2000 and 2100  m . The highest point is Lineiski Belok ( 2598  m ), which is located at the southern end of the mountain range and is also claimed by Cholsun as the highest point. The mountains consist of crystalline and metamorphic rock, gneiss and tuff . On the northern slopes are at altitudes of 1700- 1800  m the Siberian stone pine , and, spruce and fir before. High grass growth occurs on the southern slope. Above this is a zone of subalpine and alpine flora.
