Kolofo'ou is one of seven districts of Tongatapu - atoll in the Kingdom of Tonga in the Pacific .

geography

The district is the central part of the atoll with a large part of the capital Nukuʻalofa , as well as some offshore islets in the northeast. The district is largely enclosed by water, only in the west it borders directly on the Kolomotuʻa district . To the south and east of the central lagoon are the districts of Vaini , Tatakamotonga and Lapaha .

The district includes several quarters of the capital and the islands northeast of the capital up to ʻAta .
