Komtoèga is both a municipality ( commune rurale in French ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the Center-Est region and the Boulgou province .
The community has 20,126 inhabitants in 13 villages, mostly Bissa .
Komtoèga is the birthplace of Health Minister Alain Yoda .
