Konguta (German: Konghetal or Kongota ) is a former rural community in the Estonian district of Tartu with an area of ​​107.6 km². It had 1419 inhabitants (January 1, 2009). It has been part of the rural community of Elva since 2017 .

In addition to the main town Konguta (195 inhabitants), the rural community also included the villages Annikoru, Kapsta, Karijärve, Kobilu, Kurelaane, Külaaseme, Lembevere, Majala, Metsalaane, Mäeotsa, Mälgi, Poole, Pööritsa, Vahessaare and Vellavere.

The historic manor house of Konguta with its park and avenues is worth seeing.
