Nõo (German Nüggen ) is a rural community in the Estonian district of Tartu with 4170 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The area of the municipality is 170 km².
Nõo borders the town of Elva and the municipalities of Konguta and Rõngu to the west, the municipalities of Kambja and Ülenurme to the east, the municipalities of Tähtvere and Puhja to the north and the municipality of Palupera ( Valga district ) to the south .
The center of the municipality is Nõo (1,536 inhabitants). The municipal area also includes the villages of Aiamaa, Altmäe, Etsaste, Enno, Illi, Järiste, Keeri, Ketneri, Kolga, Kääni, Laguja, Luke, Meeri, Nõgiaru, Sassi, Tamsa, Tõravere, Unipiha, Uuta, Vissi and Voika.

Ketneri village
The small village of Ketneri is the penultimate stop at kilometer 56 on the route of the " Tartu Bicycle Marathon " held every autumn , which leads from the Otepää ski stadium over a total of 62.3 km to the Elva shooting range ( Elva Jahilasketiir ). The field of participants has remained constant at around 4,000 cyclists in recent years, with the route being used intensively throughout the summer.
