Saku (officially: Saku vald ; German: Sack ) is a rural community in the Estonian district of Harju with an area of 171 km². It has 7559 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2010).
Economy and Infrastructure
Saku is famous for its beer of the same name , which has been industrially brewed there since 1878. The Saku Õlletehase AS brewery , the largest and oldest in Estonia, is by far the most important employer in the municipality.

In addition to the main town of Saku and Kiisa, the municipality includes the villages of Jälgimäe, Juuliku, Kajamaa, Kirdalu, Kurtna , Lokuti, Männiku, Metsanurme, Rahula, Saue, Saustinõmme, Tagadi, Tõdva and Üksnurme.
Attractions
The Saku Manor ( Sack Manor ), which was built from 1825 to 1830 in the classical style, is particularly worth seeing . It was extensively restored from 1960 to 1984.
