Väike-Maarja (German Klein-St. Marien ) is a rural municipality in the Lääne-Viru district in Estonia .

The municipality of Väike-Maarja is located on the Pandivere Heights in the south of the Lääne-Viru County and borders the municipalities of Vinni , Laekvere , Avanduse , Rakke , Koeru ( Järva County ) and Tamsalu .
