Häädemeeste (German Gudmannsbach ) is an Estonian rural community in the southwest of the Pärnumaa district with an area of 494 km². The population is 4982 (as of January 1, 2017).
In 2017, the previous rural community of Häädemeeste merged with the neighboring rural community of Tahkuranna to the north .
In addition to the main town, the large village ( estn. Alevik ) Häädemeeste, and the large village Võiste, the rural community includes the villages ( kula ) Arumetsa, Ikla , Jaagupi, Kabli, Krundiküla, Laadi, Leina , Lepaküla, Majaka, Massiaru, Mereküla, Metsakoolela., Metsakoolela , Nepste, Orajõe, Papisilla, Penu, Piirumi, Pulgoja, Rannametsa, Reiu, Sooküla, Soometsa, Tahkuranna, Treimani, Uulu , Urissaare, Uuemaa and Võidu.
Häädemeeste is located directly on the Gulf of Riga on the Estonian - Latvian border. The sandy beaches on the Baltic Sea attract many tourists in summer.

The older municipality of Häädemeeste had an area of 390.2 km² and 2987 inhabitants (status: 2010). In addition to the main town of Häädemeeste (868 inhabitants), the rural community included the villages Arumetsa (105), Ikla (190), Jaagupi (101), Kabli (391), Krundiküla (148), Majaka (51), Massiaru (129), Metsapoole ( 153), Nepste (25), Orajõe (44), Papisilla (70), Penu (81), Pulgoja (71), Rannametsa (142), Sooküla (81), Soometsa (142), Treimani (276), Urissaare ( 85), Uuemaa (40) and Võidu (112).
