Konrad Ketteler

Konrad Ketteler (* in the 16th century; † March 25, 1625 in Dülmen ) was canon in Münster and Drost in Dülmen.

Life

Origin and family

Konrad Ketteler came from the Westphalian noble family von Ketteler , from which numerous well-known personalities emerged. He was the son of the former canon Hermann Ketteler zu Altassen and his wife Adelheid von Diepenbrock. They married in 1577. His brothers were Johann Vollrath (* 1590, State Secretary and Mayor of Pewsum) and the Münster canons Hermann , Rembert , Dietrich and Wilhelm .

Act

On June 19, 1589, Konrad came into the possession of a cathedral priest from Münster and was sworn to the families of Ketteler, Beesten, Diepenbrock and Stael . He was also a canon in Rees and appointed authorized representatives on April 24, 1590 to transfer his prebend to his brother Dietrich , who took possession of it on June 2. On the same day refrained Konrad and married on September 15, 1598 Odilia Ketteler to Neuassen. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Ketteler and the Thedora von Botzelaer. Until his death Konrad held the office of Drosten in Dülmen and was master of Assen .
