Konrad Müller (born August 10, 1892 in Frauenfeld , † February 25, 1981 in Winterthur , Catholic , resident in Winterthur and Reuti ) was a Swiss politician ( CSP ).

Life

Konrad Müller was born on August 10, 1892 in Frauenfeld as the son of typesetter Franz Eduard Müller and Dorothea nee Weibel. After completing a bank apprenticeship in Winterthur, Müller worked for 36 years as managing director of the Konkordia book printing company and as publisher of the Christian social daily newspaper " Hochwacht " .

In addition, Müller acted as President of the Konkordia consumer cooperatives and the Association of Self-Help Institutions of the Christian Social Movement in Switzerland, and as Vice President of the Christian Social Workers' Union. He was also one of the co-founders of the Waldheim housing cooperative in Winterthur.

In 1920 he married Bertha, the daughter of the magazine writer Karl Berger. Konrad Müller died on February 25, 1981 at the age of 88 in Winterthur.

Political functions

His first political office held Konrad Müller in Grand council of the city of Winterthur. There he was the first local council president of the CSP between 1939 and 1940. In addition, he took a seat on the National Council from 1947 to 1951 .

Konrad Müller emerged as a sponsor of the Christian Social Unemployment and Health Insurance Fund, the Christian Social Savings Banks and Insurance Companies and the Swiss Catholic Gymnastics and Sports Association.
