Conrad Shepherd

Conrad Shepherd (* 3. November 1937 as Konrad Schaef ; † 1. July 2020 ) was a German science fiction - author . He studied mechanical engineering and worked in the American armed forces.

Life

His first SF novel Die unheimlichen Kegel was published in 1960 under the pseudonym "Roy Chester" in the series Utopia after a novel with the title Return, which had already been purchased for the series Utopia large volumes , was not published. Through the mediation of Hans Kneifel , he joined the Perry-Rhodan series in 1967 . However, the collaboration ended after three published novels.

In the seventies, eight novels were published for the Checkpart series by Kelter-Verlag . He also wrote novels for the Blaulicht series. He wrote western novels under the pseudonym Clint Morgan.

He was hired by William Voltz in 1974 for the Atlan series . This collaboration also ended after three novels.

Since 1980 he has been writing books and articles in specialist magazines on the subject of model making.

In the mid to late 1990s, three Perry Rhodan planetary novels and the novel Walls of Power appeared in the Perry Rhodan Space Thriller series .
