Konrad Stöhr

Konrad Stöhr (born November 25, 1893 in Daugendorf ; † July 4, 1984 in Ravensburg ) worked as an agricultural teacher after the war as provisional district administrator in the Tettnang district .

After an agricultural studies at the University of Hohenheim and the University of Bonn with a diploma in 1918 he received his doctorate in 1920 at the University of Halle Dr. rer. nat., although his studies were interrupted by military service from 1914 to 1917 . After that he was u. a. working as an agriculture teacher in Riedlingen , Leonberg and Blaubeuren . From 1927 to 1959 he headed the agricultural school in Tettnang .

On July 6, 1945 he was appointed provisional district administrator in Tettnang by the French military government , but at the same time remained head of the agricultural school. In January 1947, at his request, he was released from the office of the district administrator and took over the management of the Tettnang agricultural office. In 1959 he retired and was then managing director of the Tettnang District Farmers Association and the Tettnang Hop Growers Association.

From 1948 to 1950 he was district chairman of the CDU .

Because of his services to agriculture, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .

He was a member of the Catholic student associations KDSt.V. Carolingia Hohenheim and KDSt.V. Ascania Bonn .
