Konrad Utz

Konrad Utz (* 1968 ) is a German philosopher . He is Professor of Philosophy at the Federal University of Ceará in Fortaleza (UFC, Brazil ). He develops an independent overall philosophical system , the basic concept of which is chance .

Life

Utz studied Catholic theology in Tübingen and Pune ( India ), did his doctorate in philosophy in Tübingen and has been Professor of Philosophy at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC - Federal University of Ceará) in Fortaleza (Brazil) since 2006 .

Utz develops a comprehensive philosophical system from the concept of chance. His main sources of inspiration are Kant and Hegel , as well as Aristotle and Indian philosophy . He is also concerned with the theory of events ( ontology ), the theory of consciousness (subject, knowledge , action theory ) and the theory of friendship (practical philosophy).

In addition to his philosophical work, Utz published the children's book Tales of Drache and Bear in 2006.
