Konstantin Alexandrovich Menshov ( Russian Константин Александрович Меньшов , English Konstantin Alexandrovich Menshov ; born February 23, 1983 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a Russian figure skater who starts in a single run .
Konstantin Menshov only managed to qualify for international championships on his ninth participation in Russian figure skating championships. He became Russian champion in 2011 and took part in a European championship for the first time in Bern at the age of almost 28 . He finished seventh and was only the second best Russian runner after Artur Gatschinski, who was ten years younger than him (5th place). So he did not qualify for the World Cup in Moscow , where Russia only had one starting place that year.
In the 2012/2013 season he reached two fourth places in the ISU Grand Prix series and won bronze at the Russian championship. Nevertheless, he was only nominated as a replacement for international championships and was not used.
Menshov has a twin brother named Nikita.
