Konstantinos Kaimakoglou ( Greek Κωνσταντίνος Καϊμακόγλου , born March 15, 1983 in Piraeus , Greece ) is a Greek basketball player .
Career
Konstantinos Kaimakoglou began his professional career in 2002 with the Athens club Niar Ist. For the 2004/2005 season he moved to Marousi Athens where he played for five years and made his debut in the ULEB Euroleague in the 2009/2010 season . Between 2010 and 2012 he was under contract with the top club Panathinaikos Athens . With Panathinaikos Kaimakoglou was able to win the ULEB Euroleague in addition to the Greek championship and the cup competition. Since 2012 he has been playing for the Russian club UNICS Kazan .
National team
Kaimakoglou achieved his greatest success with the junior national teams in 2002 when he won the U-20 European Championship. Since 2009 he has been part of the men's selection of Greece . In the same year he took part in the European Championships in Poland and won the bronze medal there.
