Convent 2 (Quedlinburg)
The house Konvent 2 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the southern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the west side of the street Konvent and is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as an agricultural citizen's farm. To the south is the also listed building Konvent 1 , to the north the building Konvent 3 .
Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built in the Baroque period in 1680 by the Quedlinburg master carpenter Martin Lange . The inscription M. MARTIN LANGE ZM on the building, decorated with a coat of arms that was later modified, refers to him . On the threshold of the house there are ship throats and pyramid beam heads . Around 1820 the gate wings for the passage in the southern half of the house were built.
Inside there is a staircase in the style of classicism .
