Konvent 30 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the east side of the Konvent street and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the north, the building is adjacent to the Konvent 29 building, which is also listed .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built according to an inscription in 1693 by the Quedlinburg master carpenter Martin Lange . Local history researcher Adolf Brinkmann deciphered the inscription in the 1920s as 1698 . The inscription M. MARTIN LANGE on the building refers to Lange . A mezzanine was added to the ground floor of the house . The trusses of the building are decorated with pyramid beam heads , the half-timbered figure of the half man , St. Andrew's crosses and bevels . In addition, compartments are provided with decorative brickwork.

A gate passage leads through the house, which, together with a door located in the gate, dates from the time the house was built.
