The house Konvent 3 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located in the southern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the west side of the street Konvent and is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building. To the south is the also listed building Konvent 2 , to the north the building Konvent 4 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built in 1665 and largely still looks as it was built. The construction was carried out by the master carpenter Peter Dünnehaupt . The inscription M. PETER DÜNNEHAUPT on the building refers to him . There is a gate passage in the north half of the building. In some compartments there are St. Andrew's crosses and foot struts . There are decorative walls made of red bricks walled with plaster of paris. The threshold is plastically profiled and has decorations from the construction period,
