The KGS Drochtersen is a structured cooperative comprehensive school in the district of Stade . Most of the students come from Drochtersen , Assel, Bützfleth , Ritsch , Dornbusch, Krautsand , Hüll and more and more students also from Stade and Wischhafen .

Special

  • The school combines the three types of school , secondary school , secondary school and grammar school under one roof .
  • Permeability of school forms “upwards”. Students who perform particularly well in one of the main subjects can attend a higher-quality course in that subject. For example, a secondary school student can take a secondary school course in mathematics, English or German. Accordingly, a secondary school student takes a high school course.
  • The school has been offering wind lessons since the 1999/2000 school year. For this purpose, the school is supported by teachers from the music school.
  • Voluntary and open all-day school.

Wind lessons

Since the school year 1999/2000 the school has offered wind lessons from grade 5. The students who take part can rent a wind instrument from the school and receive instrument lessons in small groups of around five students and orchestral lessons with all students of a year.
Performances take place regularly, not just at school events.
