Tour de Korea
The Tour de Korea ( German Tour of Korea ) is a South Korean road bike race.
The race is held as a stage race. It is part of the UCI Asia Tour and is classified in category 2.2. The route is around 1,500 kilometers long, making it the longest cycling race in Asia. It is supported by the national cycling association, the Korea Cycling Federation. In 2008 the circuit was expanded to include tracks in Japan and that year the race was called the Tour de Korea-Japan .
In the meantime, the tour has been upgraded to category 2.1 .
