The Korkfjella ( Norwegian for Cork Mountains ) is a mountain group in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is part of the Smedfjella in the center of the Sør Rondane mountains and looms between the Gjelsida and the Mefjell .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 2017. The further naming background is not known.
