The 476 km long Korkodon ( Russian Коркодон ) is a right tributary of the Kolyma in Siberia ( Russia , Asia ).

The Korkodon has its source in the Korkodon Mountains and then flows through a valley between the Korkodon and Molkaty Mountains, which is wide and swampy in the lower reaches . In the entire course it flows through the Magadan Oblast .

The catchment area covers 42,800 km². The mean discharge in the middle reaches (near Kolzewaja, 306 km above the mouth) is 50.4 m³ / s (minimum in March to April: close to 0 m³ / s, maximum in June: 206 m³ / s).

The cork codon freezes from October to the end of May, whereby it can freeze through to the bottom in the upper and middle reaches. It was previously used for rafting .

The main tributary is the Bulun (Булун) from the right.
