The Kornicker Glacier is a glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows from the basin between Mount Liptak , Mount Southwick , Mount Milton and Mount Mullen in the southern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains in a north-easterly direction to the lower section of the Thomas Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2006 after the US zoologist Louis Samson Kornicker (1919–2018) from the Department of Crustaceans of the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution between 1964 and 2006 and a member of the editorial board for Antarctic research of the American Geophysical Union from 1978 to 1990.
