The AS Koroivos Amaliadas , full name: Athlitikos Syllogos Koroivos Amaliadas (German: "sports club Koroivos Amaliadas" Greek Α.Σ. Κόροιβος Αμαλιάδας , complete: Αθλητικός Σύλλογος Κόροιβος Αμαλιάδας ), commonly known as Koroivos Amaliadas or Koroivos known is from Amaliada Original Greek sports club that maintains several departments. The most successful among them is that of the now outsourced basketball section , whose first men's team plays in the top division, the Basket League .

In 1982 the sports club Amaliadas was founded. As a patron, the association adapted the Koroivos von Elis and thus managed to get its full name AS Koroivos Amaliadas .

In 1983 the board of the club installed a department for basketball whose first men's team rose in the following years from the local regional league to the Gamma Ethniki , the fourth highest division in Greek basketball. After further down and up, the club took second place in the 2009/10 season, group South 1 of the fourth division and was thus eligible for promotion to the third division, the Beta Ethniki . However, the club waived this right and instead merged with the bankrupt basketball club AS Xanthi who played in the A2 Ethniki , the second division. This Koroivos was eligible to play for the second division for the 2010/11 season. With 11 wins from 30 games Koroivos rose to the third division. With immediate resurgence, the club played second class again from the 2012/13 season. In the 2013/14 season Koroivos finished second in the second division behind the AEK Athens and rose with this to the Basket League , the top division in Greek basketball. Koroivo's first first-class season 2014/15 ended the team in eighth place at the end of the main round. This qualified the team for the following playoff rounds for the Greek championship. There the club was defeated in the first round by the eventual champions Olympiacos . The season 2015/16 ended Koroivos in twelfth place, thereby preventing barely relegation on the final day.
