Dmitri Evgenjewitsch Kosmatschow ( Russian Дмитрий Евгеньевич Космачёв ; born June 7, 1985 in Gorki , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Amur Khabarovsk in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Dmitri Kosmatschow began his career as a hockey player in the youth of HK CSKA Moscow , for whose professional team he gave in the 2001/02 season in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga . With the capital city, the defender rose to the super league this season , in which he played for ZSKA for two more years. After a season with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Vysschaya League, the right-handed player moved to Chimik Moskowskaya Oblast in 2005 , for which he was on the ice for two more seasons in the Super League, before he was transferred to Ak Bars Kazan from the newly founded Continental Hockey League in the summer of 2008 was committed. With Kazan he was in the 2008/09 season for the first time in his career Russian champions . In 2009 he returned to Nizhny Novgorod and completed 43 KHL games for the club.

At the beginning of the 2010/11 season Kosmachev was no longer used at Torpedo and was therefore given to HK Ryazan . For his new club, he completed seven games in the second-rate Wysschaja Hockey League before moving to Toros Neftekamsk within the league . From April 2011 Kosmatschow was at Atlant Moskowskaja Oblast in the Continental Hockey League under contract and completed 91 KHL games for the club. His contract expired in spring 2013 and Kosmatschow received a one-year contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in May 2013 , which was extended for another season a year later.

International

For Russia Kosmachev took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2002 and 2003 , as well as the U20 World Junior Championships in 2004 .
