The Kotel Gap (English; Bulgarian Котелска седловина Kotelska sedlowina ) is a 600 m high mountain saddle on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Levski Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it lies between Serdica Peak and Silistra Knoll . It separates the catchment areas of the Macy Glacier in the north and the Bojana Glacier in the south.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain saddle in 2002 after the town of Kotel in the east-central part of Bulgaria .
