Kotzreiz is a German punk band from Berlin .
history
Kotzreiz was founded in October 2007 around the drummer Christopher Kohl (pseudonym: "Reiz") by Jennifer Rostock , Fabi Feuer von 200 Dinge (pseudonym: "Kotze") and Tom (pseudonym: "Büchse"). The trio gave themselves an asselpunk image and started to play simple, catchy punk . From 2008 the band began touring all over Germany. This was followed by a record deal with Aggressive Punk Productions . The first release was the song Berlin on the first aggro punk sampler. This was followed on August 6, 2010 by her first album You make the city ruin . The album caused a stir in the punk scene. In 2012 the EP was released, Shit stays Shit , followed by the second album Punk stays Punk . The song tears was created in collaboration with Feine Sahne Fischfilet . The album also features the bands Divakollektiv , Nonstop Stereo and Auf Probation as guests. In 2012 the band played on Force Attack and toured with The Vageenas .
In 2015 the band separated from their bassist Tom. As a replacement they found Matt Mueller, who still plays in the band to this day. In the same year, Kotzreiz released The City Belongs to Rats as a video and EP.
style
Puking play catchy, simple German punk in the style of the 1980s, which is deliberately kept dull and minimalist. The style of music is partly reminiscent of the battle cries BRD series . The texts revolve around typical point topics and clichés, such as alcohol consumption and scrounging. Political topics are BVG fares , a popular topic since Ton Steine Scherben , and anti-Nazi songs. In the song Tränen they deal with the topic of German rock .
