Bernhard Krackau

Bernhard Krackau (born June 17, 1703 in Flögeln , † July 18, 1753 in Sottrum ) was a German Evangelical Lutheran clergyman .

Life

Bernhard Krackau was born in the house of his uncle, the then preacher in Flögeln Martin Matthaei. After schooling in Oldenburg and Stade , he studied at the University of Rostock from 1720 . When his father died in 1726, Krackau took over his position as pastor in Bevern and was introduced to his office on January 21, 1727. On March 1, 1735, he became pastor in Sottrum and held this office until his death in 1753.

family

Krackau was the son of the pastor in Büttel , later Bevern, Gottfried Krackau († 1726). His mother Christina Lucia von Freuden was a daughter of Christoph von Freuden and Anna Maria Havemann, a granddaughter of the general superintendent Michael Havemanns .
