Kraftur: the last ride is an Icelandic documentary from 2009. The film is about the relationship between a man and his horse.

A camera team accompanies Thórarinn Eymundsson (Tóti) during the training of his stallion Kraftur frá Bringu , who took part in the 2007 World Championship for Icelandic horses . Here the couple won the silver medal in tölt (T1), as well as the world championship title in five gaits (walk, trot, canter, tölt, pass).
The film shows the first beginnings in Iceland in Borgarfjördur, in the north of Iceland, where Tóti lives. In this documentary, the landscape of Iceland comes into its own, in which Thórarinn is accompanied while working with the horse. For example, he rides on the beach in summer or a tournament on a frozen lake in winter. When Tóti qualified for the World Championships for Icelandic Horses in Oirschot (Holland), he found himself in a dilemma. Because a horse that ever leaves Iceland must never return. Tóti has to decide whether to show his extraordinary horse to a broad public if the price is to part with his horse forever.

The film was produced by the Icelandic company Skotta Film. The premiere took place on July 28, 2009 at the Gimli Theater in Canada. The film was shown at the 12th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in 2010.
