The power plant Litoral de Almería or power plant Carboneras ( Spanish Central térmica Litoral de Almería or Central térmica de Carboneras ) is a coal-fired power plant in the municipality of Carboneras , province of Almería , Spain .

The installed capacity of the power plant is 1158 MW . It is owned by Endesa and operated by Endesa. The power plant went into operation with the first unit in 1985. Endesa applied to shut down the power plant at the end of 2019; shutdown is expected in 2021 or 2022.

The power plant consists of two units that went into operation in 1985 and 1997. The following table gives an overview:
