The Pulling power plant is a run-of-river power plant on the Schwarzer Regen river .
The dam in Pulling and the power station were built between 1962 and 1964. The power station went into operation in October 1964. The storage space extends over 3 kilometers and forms the Blaibacher See with a storage target of 387.6 m . The dam is 150 meters long and seven and a half meters high. The power plant, dam and storage space are located in the area of the municipality of Blaibach in the district of Pulling. The electrical power provided by two generators is 1.3 MW. The power plant is owned by Kraftwerk am Höllenstein AG , which also operates it. The average energy produced per year is 6 million kilowatt hours.
The grid connection takes place in the power grid of the distribution network operator E.ON Bayern .
