The Kramski Group (spelling: KRAMSKI) is a German manufacturer of stamped and hybrid parts with locations in Germany, the USA, India and Sri Lanka. The company has around 800 employees worldwide (as of 2019).

history

Kramski GmbH was founded on October 16, 1978 by Wiestaw Kramski, who won first prize in the start-up competition of Capital magazine that same year . Production started in rented rooms in Pforzheim within a year . In 1984 a production building was built in Birkenfeld . In 1990 the construction was outsourced to rented rooms on Wilferdinger Höhe in Pforzheim. In 1993 the subsidiary Kramski Lanka Private Ltd. founded in Sri Lanka . In 1996, the stamping production of highly complex parts started in Birkenfeld in rented rooms. In 1999 Kramski GmbH moved to the newly built company building in Pforzheim. The production area in Sri Lanka was also expanded and the construction for injection molds expanded.

In the year 2000 the High Precision Putter HPP 330 was developed. 2001 saw the start of the construction of the first reel-to-reel system and the introduction of the SAP software R / 3 at Kramski GmbH Pforzheim. In 2002 the subsidiary Kramski North America was founded in Florida . In 2003 Andreas Kramski became managing director. Kramski Putter GmbH was founded in 2004 after the founder W. Kramski developed the High Precision Putter HPP 330 out of his passion for golf in 2000. In 2007, Kramski Lanka launched its own training center with vocational training based on the German model, and in 2008 Kramski Stamping and Molding India Private Ltd. founded and in 2009 the subsidiary Kramski Putter, Inc. in the USA. In 2013, a factory building was purchased in Pforzheim with the implementation of the TAZ technology and training center .

Company founder Wiestaw Kramski left the German management at the end of 2014 at the age of 67 as planned. In the same year the new logistics center was inaugurated at the headquarters in Pforzheim. In 2018 the company in Germany was expanded to over 20,000 m² with completely new equipment and state-of-the-art machinery.

Locations

The Kramski Group employs around 800 people (as of 2019) at 4 locations, each with its own design and development departments as well as its own tool and mold construction.

Germany

The location in Pforzheim is the headquarters of the Kramski Group with around 330 employees, 30 trainees and an area of ​​20,032 m².

Sri Lanka

The establishment of the subsidiary in Katunayake (Sri Lanka) in 1993 was the first step towards international positioning. 300 employees and around 20 trainees are employed on an area of ​​6700 m².

United States

The production site in Largo , FL (USA) was founded in 2002. With 34 employees, more than three hundred million stamped and hybrid parts are produced on an area of ​​almost 5,000 m². The diversified customer portfolio includes companies from different industries such as automotive , medicine or telecommunications .

India

The production site in Vellore (India) was founded in 2008. The still young location has around 100 employees and over 2,000 m² of production space.

Cooperation and sponsoring

Kramski GmbH cooperates with the WVIB- Wirtschaftsverband Industrielle Unternehmen Baden , is a member of the entrepreneurial networks Innonet and Hochform as well as a member of the Chamber of Crafts in Karlsruhe and Pforzheim. In 2006 she established an endowed professorship with the Pforzheim University and maintains close educational partnerships with the Ludwig-Uhland-Schule, the Osterfeldrealschule and the Heinrich-Wieland-Schule in Pforzheim.

As a sponsor, Kramski supports the annual Goldstadtpokal in Pforzheim, an international dance tournament for Latin American dances. Kramski also acts as a sponsor of the soccer club 1. CfR Pforzheim . In addition, Kramski is the title sponsor of the KRAMSKI German Golf League presented by Audi, which was founded in 2013 . The league was launched by the German Golf Association (DGV).
