The Krausberg is a 2900 m high and somewhat isolated mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Victory Mountains, it rises southwest of Mount Hancox on the northwestern edge of the Malta Plateau .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) made his name.
