Krešimir Kovačević (born August 7, 1994 in Treuchtlingen , Germany ) is a Croatian football player .

Career

Kovačević began his career at NK Sesvetski Kraljevec . In 2010 he moved to NK Sesvete . In May 2013 he played against the NK Imotski for the first time for the fighting team of Sesvete in the 2nd HNL . In the summer of 2013 it was awarded to the NK Dubrava for half a year . After his return, he completed eleven more games for Sesvete in the Croatian second division before moving to NK Dugo Selo during the winter break of the 2014/15 season.

In January 2016 he moved to Austria , where he joined the sixth class SC Bad Tatzmannsdorf . After two years in Burgenland , he switched to the amateurs of TSV Hartberg in January 2018 . In March 2018 he was against SC Wiener Neustadt for the first time in the professional squad. He made his debut for Hartberg in the second division in the same month when he started against SV Ried on matchday 25 of the 2017/18 season and was replaced by Zakaria Sanogo in the 62nd minute .

With Hartberg he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2018 . He left Hartberg after the 2018/19 season. After several months without a club, he returned to Croatia in November 2019 and moved to the second division club NK Kustošija . After four appearances for Kustošija in the 2nd HNL, in which he scored two goals, he moved back to Austria in January 2020 and joined the second division club SV Lafnitz . After 14 appearances in the second division for Styria, in which he scored six goals, he left the club after the 2019/20 season.
