Kreuschlach is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Gmünd in Carinthia in the Spittal an der Drau district in Carinthia .
The cadastral community consists of the localities Oberkreuschlach, Unterkreuschlach, Treffenboden and Burgwiese. A total of 458 people live in Kreuschlach (as of January 1, 2020).
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 135 building areas with 23,787 m² and 74 gardens on 59,372 m² in the cadastral community of Kreuschlach , in 1989/1990 there were 173 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 421 and in 2009/2010 there were 264 buildings on 429 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 207 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 512 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 167 hectares and 544 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 161 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 611 hectares. The average soil climate of Kreuschlach is 19.1 (as of 2010).
