The Hamburg Landwehr S-Bahn station is operationally a simple stop on the S1 and S11 lines of the Hamburg S-Bahn on the street of the same name in the Hamburg district of Eilbek and close to the neighboring districts of Hamm , Borgfelde and Hohenfelde .

On the central platform , the tracks run parallel to the tracks on the Lübeck – Hamburg line and, together with them, bridge the Landwehr road near the intersection with the Hasselbrookstraße and Angerstraße streets. The entrance to the platform is on the eastern side of Landwehr Street. The postal address of the station is Hasselbrookstraße 4.
history
The station was opened on December 5, 1906 as part of the Hamburg-Altona connecting line. As one of the few buildings in the neighborhood, the old station building survived the Second World War undamaged, but was severely neglected in the following years, the old station building was demolished in the 1970s and replaced by a simple staircase, which has been equipped with an elevator since July 2011 . The S-Bahn station is served by the main line S1 and the amplifier line S11.
