There is also a bus stop at the corner of Schulteßdamm . The postal address of the station is Rolfinkstraße 5. The S-Bahn station has a covered central platform.

history

The station is on the Alstertalbahn . This was planned since around 1908 as a connection to villa colonies in the Alstertal. It was built from 1913 onwards, but due to the First World War, it was only able to open on January 15, 1918 on a single track with a provisional operation, with which the Hoheneichen station was also opened. Due to lack of money, the construction work was temporarily about to be stopped. Eventually, however, the Stormarn district had the railway continue to be built. The double-track electrical operation opened on March 12, 1924, when the contact wire was completely installed. A planned third track for freight traffic was not implemented.

business

The station is served by trains on the S1 and S11 lines of the Hamburg S-Bahn . There is a transition to the bus routes 27, 168 and 368 of the Hamburger Hochbahn (HHA).
